Hi y'all

I made a come back after years of silence. Well not really in silence. Just can't find a time to slot in a new entry. I can barely remember my username and password now, had a tough time trying to login to my dashboard. Ahahaha!

Hope to provide new updates soon. =P

My journey to Cardiff

Haa.. I’ve been in Cardiff for a week already. I still can’t believe I’m here. And for the next 3 years I will be living here alone, far away from my family. I can still remember on the day of my departure. Part of me didn’t want to go, leaving those dearest to me. But I have to pursue my PhD. I will have to leave them behind for awhile. 3 years seems very long but I have to move on.

Back then, my dad asked me to go to the MAS Golden Lounge to experience the best lounge facilities in KLIA. So after got my passport endorsed I hurriedly searched for the lounge, I seriously don’t know the location of the lounge so I move back and and forth searching for it. As time was running late, I asked some guy and finally got there. But as soon as I wanted to get in, I can hear the announcement calling for departure and it happened to be my flight. Tough luck!

I was quite sad but as soon as I got my feet on the plane, I completely forgotten about the sadness. Traveling by business class is really sumthin. They treat u very well. The seats were marvelous and the foods were wonderful. I really enjoyed and relaxed myself during the whole trip. But 1 thing was bothering me during the whole flight was my stomach. Got a really bad stomach ache and I went back and forth to the toilet. Sigh really a spoiler!

After 13 hours and 20 mins of flight, I arrived at Heathrow airport; I was given a pink pass by one of the stewardess. They told me to show the card at the immigration and I will be given a fast lane entrance to the UK, especially for business class and first class passenger only. SweeT! So the was no hassle during the entry process. Got my passport and visa endorsed, and quickly got in UK!

I was supposed to meet my cousin in Heathrow, they were on their way back to Malaysia after a long holiday. They asked me to bring something for them and I searched for them like hell. I don’t want to bring those stuff anyway as it will add some weight into my luggage but they insisted. Even though it was quite cold, I was soaked drenched in sweat. I need to pull my 40 kg luggage and with the cold weather, it hurts my hand. I tried contacting them to no avail. Each sms I sent cost me RM2!! Talk bout roaming. They eventually replied saying that they have already at the Gate waiting to board the plane. I was pissed as I was sweating like hell and lost couple of RM for sms them all evening. I ended up keeping the stuffs for myself.

I made my way directly to the Central bus station which was about 20 mins walk from the airport. With the luggage and the entire walk seemed like forever. I met few Malaysian at the bus station and asked them bout the area. I left my luggage with them for a while so that I can go to the toilet. To bring 1 big bag into the toilet was tedious job. The guys left at 9 pm and so I waited alone.

After a while there was this arab guy came along and stayed with me while waiting for the bus. He wanted to go to Sheffield and is a student there. Bus services was delayed on that day. There was a bomb threat in Scotland. Few cars wee exploded. I was informed that the security around the area was quite strict. There was this funny incident going on during that time. This arab guy like walking around. He left his bags with me so that I can keep an eye on them. A group of mat salleh came, they looked frustrated and exhausted. Then they saw the arab guy’s bags. The asked for the owner but I was not interested to answer. Then a lady in the group came to the bags and read the tagging. She leaped and shouted the bag was from Saudi Arabia. They were all panicked and thought the bag was a bomb and was left there on purpose.

I told them that the guy went to the toilet for a while and will be back soon. They were angry with the arab guy and told him not to left luggage unattended. The main thing is that they were paranoid after the car explosion incident. Stupid isn’t it?

Well my bus was also a bit late. It came 1 hour after the expected time. So exhausted I hopped onto the bus. The seats were small and were packed closely together. Not like the buses in Malaysia. So the journey to Cardiff from Heathrow took about 3 and a half hour. I arrived in Cardiff at 3.30 am. Cardiff was not like I expected it to be. It was cold and surprisingly dirty. The roadside was full of garbage and drunk people. Normal sight for the locals during the weekend. I popped out my cigarette and on the first puff, there came my ‘girlfriend’ to fetch me. So after I finished my cigarette and we went straight to her house.

A sad wedding

My cousin just got married last weekend. The wedding ceremony was supposed to be a celebration. People get excited, happy and all. But that was not the case. The truth is, it was not a dull event nor a disaster occured during the ceremony. So why's the title sad wedding? Simply becoz I was not there to experience the event. I was not invited.

A lot of things happened lately. As I can recall, the wave of change struck us right after my grandma passed away. Now everything is haywire. Blood is no longer thicker than water. We are no longer a family. We are on our own.

Most of my uncles and aunts including my dad were offended by my "uncle" action for not inviting us to his daughter's engagement day. From there on they were not satisfied and planned not to attend the wedding. Not suprised, he did not call or showed up at our door step to invite us to the wedding. He did send the invitation card though but there was no spirit in it, just like ajak2 ayam only.

So on that wedding day, me and my family just stayed at home, pretending nothing happened on that day, one of my aunty continue her business as usual, some of my uncles went on a holiday. There was no special occasion on that day, well not on our calendar of course. So in the end how would the bride and the bridegroom feel when their closest relatives did not attend their wedding?

I don know when will this ends? I'm hoping that this sick cycle carousel will eventually stop spinning. I really missed those days where we gathered together and have a lot of fun... as a family.

Tribute to Prof Azizan

Maybe most of u all are not familiar with this name. He passed away peacefully on the 3 May 2007. When I told my father bout it, he was also shocked, we've met his daughter a few months back in Taiping and asked bout Prof Azizan. And never in our mind would expect that he would pass away this soon. So the question is, who is Prof Azizan? Sure he is not my lecturer. The truth is, I dont know him personally but I have known him for sometime due to his products.

Prof. Dr. Azizan Ismail started his business in homeopathy in 1978 then he sets up the first homeopathic clinic in Jitra,Kedah. At the same time he also formulated over the counter homeopathic and herbal product. The first product Examo CKM (a special combination of biochemic tissue salt) was formulated by Prof. Dr. Azizan in the same year. With increasing demand in homeopathic and other alternative medicine product (it started in the Northern side of Malaysia and spreaded throughout the nation) , Prof. Dr. Azizan Ismail set up Darulaman Homeopathic Laboratories (M) Sdn. Bhd. or Homeolab in short, in year of 2000. Homeolab is a fully GMP facility and being licensed by the National Pharmaceutical Control Bureau,Ministry of Health of Malaysia. Homeolab is the first Homeopathic Manufacturer in Malaysia and the South East Asia.

Way back in early 90's I was introduced by my Pak Long to Examo CKM, which is a homoepathy product for the mind. (I never heard or knew of homoepathy b4 that). Examo CKM along with its booster was formulated by Prof Azizan for a supplement for the brain, acts like a substrate and it improves the mind, the nerve system so that we feel refresh, relaxe and revitalize. Thus having the perfect condition for the brain to concentrate and focus on study.

I can still remember clearly, during that time I was in standard 6, preparing for my UPSR. My Pak Long said that this product is very good and can increase the creativity and the awareness of the mind. Well short version of the story, me and my siblings started taking the examo. I did experience the difference. I felt a bit clever if not much.., it did hightened my concentration skills and improved my memory. How does it taste like? something like glucose. Sound good to be true? But it does have some limitation. While taking the examo there are certain food that we need to avoid, there are pantang larang. But after awhile we stopped taking the examo. Just becoz we were matured enuff to self train ourselves.

A few months back me and my dad went to Taiping for a work visit to contaminated sites. On the PLUS highway we saw this billboard with the Examo ad on it. My father asked me to write down the numbers. So we called and went to the shop in Taiping, and bought a few box of the examo. So currently my lil sis is taking the examo, she is very clever but she is quite lazy in her study and lacks concentration. I hope that she will get benefits from examo. Only time will tell.

If anybody is interested u can go to era edar website to know more, just type it on google. I'm not an agent and I'm not promoting their product. But I know one lecturer in USM that is an active agent. So for arwah Prof Azizan, I hope that Allah will bless him and placed him among the soleheen. Amin.
